Default Help Buying Guild Wars?

Hey guys, I'm about to buy the Guild Wars trilogy online on their official website for $50. It says this: "Access to the full original Guild Wars??, Guild Wars Factions???, and Guild Wars Nightfall??? campaigns via downloadable client."

Does this mean that after I buy it, I can download it instantly, or they will ship me it? Thanks

I sent you the same stuff in a PM but I'll put it here as well. You can download the client here before buying the game. you won't be able to play it, but its a good idea to download it now as you'll need to download some more stuff through the client when you start.

Use the -image command to download the complete game file. Let it run overnight while you sleep as it can take hours depending on your connection speed - total file size is approx. 3.8GB.

This will prevent long loads between zones while playing the game.

Info for Command Line on the wiki at http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Command_line

Welcome to a great game.

^ What this guy said, use -image command, let it run for a while. Get a game, Prophicies (Original), Factions or Nightfall are all stand alone, so you can get any.. create an account with the "cd key" that comes with it (but you dont even need to touch the cd's its more like an account key) and after that any other gw game or thing you buy you just add the code to your account, no extra downloading (everything you need for the game is always in the client, auto updating upon starting the game client up)

Enjoy the game!

i would buy it from the store its the same price and plus you get a map a booklet a poster and many other things with it. dont shoot yourself in the foot bro. BTW if you buy it in the store most of the game is on the disk they give so you could play instantly after you bought it in store. best buy sells them so does walmart and many other places near you.

not to mention ncsoft's website has had a history of screwups with account information!

Really I've bought many things with them and not had a problem, I did have trouble with the Fre storage. But you can't really blame them for that as I forgot my own account :S)
